Based in Barrow-in-Furness, our Branch area covers the whole of the Furness Peninsula.

Our main focus is the care and rehoming of animals coming into us from the Furness and Barrow area.

We provide welfare assistance through a voucher system for members of the public on certain specified benefits and/or low incomes. We can offer neutering and microchipping money off vouchers.

The Branch is run by a committee of trustees who are all volunteers.

We have an Advice Centre which is open three days a week to provide advice and assistance to the general public.

In addition, we welcome volunteers to assist with;

• animal care
• transport
• fundraising
• pre-adoption and post-adoption home visiting
• fostering
• many other small but important job
