RSPCA Furness and Barrow Branch
A small local branch with a big heart for cats.
The RSPCA Furness and Barrow Branch became a registered charity in 1966. In the years since then, our Branch has steadily grown to support the care of cats which are brought to us by the RSPCA Inspectorate. Through a small group of dedicated volunteers, we work diligently to provide care for those animals that are most in need: the abandoned, abused, distressed and injured. All money raised within the Branch area is spent locally to promote animal welfare on the Furness Peninsula. Like all separately registered branches of the RSPCA, we are largely self-funding and welcome donations to support our work.

The Branch is run by a committee of trustees who are all volunteers. Behind the branch is a group of people who give their time, skills and kindness to cats in need. From fostering and transport to fundraising and adoption support, every role matters.
Our branch is always stronger with more people who care. There is a place for every kind of helping hand.
